MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (May 18th, 2026)— The Turks and Caicos Islands Government and its tourism stakeholders continue to advance a bold vision to position the destination not only as one of the world’s premier luxury tourism markets, but also as a dynamic hub for sustainable investment, innovation, and long-term economic growth.

Through strategic partnerships, responsible development, and a focus on preserving the natural beauty and cultural character of the destination, the Turks and Caicos Islands is strengthening its reputation as a destination where tourism success and national prosperity go hand in hand.
On the eve of the Turks and Caicos Hotel Association Premier’s Road Show in New York, Minister of Tourism, Honorable Zhavargo Jolly, hosted an exclusive reception bringing together influential leaders from the travel, banking, investment, media, and fashion sectors for a strategic discussion on the future of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Held in Manhattan, the gathering offered an intimate setting for Minister Jolly to share his vision for the ongoing development of the Turks and Caicos Islands as a leading global destination while emphasising emerging opportunities beyond tourism, including investment, sustainability, infrastructure, and economic diversification.

The reception marked the opening engagement of the Premier’s Road Shows and underscored the administration’s commitment to strengthening relationships with key international stakeholders and decision-makers.
“Tourism remains the cornerstone of our economy, but our vision for Turks and Caicos is much broader,” Minister Jolly said. “We are building a modern, resilient, and globally competitive country that welcomes investment, innovation, and partnerships that create lasting benefits for our people.”
In introducing the Minister, Tourism communications executive, Noel Mignott, CEO of the PM Group, said: “Minister Jolly represents a new generation of Caribbean leadership — thoughtful, energetic, and focused on sustainable national development and the global positioning of Turks and Caicos. Prior to entering public service, he built a distinguished career in law, business, and public policy, bringing a strong private-sector perspective to governance and economic development.”
The reception also brought together a select group of travel influencers, media professionals, and business leaders whose reach and influence continue to shape conversations around luxury travel, tourism investment, and global lifestyle trends.
Among the distinguished guests attending the reception were Vanessa Noel, an internationally recognised luxury shoe designer, hotelier, and philanthropist; Lyenda Simpson Delp, a respected investment executive with extensive leadership experience in global financial institutions; Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, an acclaimed jewelry designer and member of the former Yugoslav royal family; and Greg Sullivan, founder and CEO of the award-winning travel media brand AFAR.
Since assuming office, the Minister has prioritised strengthening the tourism product, expanding investment opportunities, elevating the visitor experience, and ensuring that tourism success translates into meaningful economic and social benefits for the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The reception also served as an opportunity to engage directly with influential voices across industries whose platforms and networks continue to shape global travel, luxury, investment, and lifestyle trends.
